De Bruyne I think may end up out on loan though and with Drogba, Kalou, Malouda potentially leaving along with Anelka already gone, we are going to need some new blood. The fact Kalou and Malouda look likely to start the final suggests we need strength in these areas badly.
 
Agents will continually hawk the players on their books and gauge interest even if those players are happy where they are as agents get paid two ways, retainer fee (yeah right) or/and sale percentages. Even if managers honestly say they're never paid a penny to agent, they probably have within any player's portion of a fee. The more teams that are interested in a player or if a team wants a player but thinks other teams are interested then the law of supply and demand kick in, one player, several team up goes the price and the agent's portion. So if Ancelotti says he has been offered certain players when he is charge of a rich club, I believe him. All fans can hope for is that the players are professional about it and play to their utmost while under contract.
 
I don't see why anyone would want Hazard? Good player but he has been in the media talking up moves to every club under the sun - I would seriously doubt his loyalty wherever he ends up and just screams mercenary to me.
 
I would think it's fair to say Malouda and Kalou will be going, and we needed 1 more flank player anyway, so Marin, possibly De Bruyne, +1 other. Pretty sure Hazard can play both wings and in the centre too, but at this point without a confirmed manager it's a bit of a moot point.

Although that would be extravagant, expensive and a little crazy, it would also give you guys a whole new front four. Where would that leave Torres, Lampard, Mata and co...?

PS - obviously your not going to get all four.

PPS - I also realise it is in The Mirror!

To be honest I hope it's false, I'd buy one marquee signing (possible Hulk or Hazard) and then make more shrewd signings i.e. the likes of Marin at right back, central midfield and a winger. Send Lukaku on loan to another PL club and make Sturridge understudy to Torres, job done!

I think Hazard will go to Man City. From what I have seen, he has made three comments; one saying he would be going to England, another saying he would be playing in blue and then a third saying he will be in Manchester.

Hulk would be a fantastic signing for you guys but he will be costly. He seems like a bit of a money grabber but if you guys are prepared to pay what he wants, he will be one of the next EPL superstars IMO.
 
I think it is all to do with his name.....if he was called something mundane like Green Giant there wouldn't be half as much made of him.
