I always expected ASM to leave this summer if we didn't sort takeover quick. Can't really expect anything else with that kind of talent. He doesn't deserve to be fighting relegation.
He's a very very good player, but can he play in a side that plays a different way?

We certainly need him. Even though he had a rough time, he has still ended up being the catalyst for better play. Great outlet. You give him to Klopp, Pep or Tuchel I reckon he’d be a nightmare. Whereas his pace means he can play counter attack for us, his best attribute I think is his one on one. He beats players with ease. Imagine the pen count where those teams would be feeding him the ball.
