I accept the squad point but both are starters and IMO would likely clash in the same team and/or would result in insufficient defending from the front.

Also would be too much of a luxury to have them each playing only 50%of the games. The squad has bigger needs.

I was one of those people. My reason is that there was no point getting a Coutinho type player at this stage. Remember we were told our budget wasn't going to be mega so splashing 70/80% on one player is ridiculous.

For a Coutinho price we could get 4 to quality players that would transform us.

If our owner buys good players I just wouldn't care about the money tbh.

The game will have changed for us.

They'll just buy the other 4 anyway
