Berba was a last minute signing, but that was down to the A team of SAF & Gill. SAF wanted him, Gill sorted the deal out. No questions asked, Gill did his job to perfection

You're comparing apples and oranges. Yes Woodward has so far displayed frightening levels of incompetency but the signing of Betbatov was hardly a strategic or negotiating master stroke by Gill. United were Champions of Europe at the time and we had to break the British transfer record to get him. I could have done that deal with Levy who ALWAYS sells when the right price is offered.
 
Its going to be an exciting end to the transfer window, i expect us to be busy on monday, i reckon we'll get 2-3 players in, just my opinion though.

At least we won't be paying 27 million on a player, unlike last year.

A concept that Matth hasn't got to grips with even after being told at least 100 times by 20 different forum users.....

I gave up at around the 50 mark.
 
Not deadline day but Kagawa has re-joined Borussia Dortmund for 6.3 million.

Remy has joined Chelsea.
