The rules changed after the bet was sealed. Initially, I was prepared to go along with it, but then all the pathetic crowing started, so I thought, "**** it! Let's play with the children!"

Yeah, I gather that you are less inclined to engage in the more childish forms of humour. I get that.

It's a jolly good thing that we aren't all stuffy and prickly, like you, NSIS. I'm not having a pop at you for being like that, just saying. There are a lot of people like you in my business, so I'm used to not everyone getting my humour. I have long since learned to carry on regardless, and live my life how I want to live it, without really taking too much notice of the more prickly among you.

It's a shame that you think that, because you really are playing into the hands of the baser elements on this board.

Look at my posts. Apart from a little bit of harmless name-calling - none of it really offensive - I rarely make a personal attack on posters; and when I do, it's in direct retaliation to the more vile attacks on me.

Tell me, NSIS, who else on this board has to put up with the constant and various (ie. from several different posters) attacks on them? Let me help you with that - no one. I really do wish you could spend a week having to put up with the constant attacks and **** that I have endured for the past two years, and I'd like to see how well you hold up to it. I happily predict that you would not bear it with even a fraction of the good humour I do.

I'll take criticism, if it is fair, but in my opinion you are far too ready to lump me in with the true idiots on this site, and that isn't going to endear me to you.

First off, if you wanted to stop a lot of this all you had to do was comply with what was agreed with @luvgonzo, who I believe instigated this bet. If you had done that, there would be no reason for all this Hiag is a bottler ****. You'd have honoured your bet.

I've no objection to Wumming, as such. But if you start if, expect it get it back. I'll indulge in a bit of harmless piss taking, if it comes back to haunt me, then I asked for it.

The problem is that you start these threads like Hiag's new Bambi picture! WTF's that about. If You try to ridicule the poster instead of just his team, then there's a chance it will get personal. In Fosse's case, you must know he's not going to let it go!

Lastly, I'm not blaming you anymore than I blame your antagonists. It's time you all started to redraw your compass between what's a Wum and what's a personal insult, IMO. Once the personal stuff starts, there's some who just don't know where to stop and take it to the extremes.

 

Well said, I've made two posts of a similar nature but just got abuse. I honestly think despite his protestations he actually enjoys the whole process of wumming and abuse and the subsequent rippings he constantly gets. In his case it's all about grabbing attention at any cost. He says he wants it to stop but just throws fuel on the fire. Can't see him changing tbh.

 

Yeah, if he gives stick he should expect it, he's started "mouser" threads on the spuds board as well as here and ripped Liverpool the city and the club to pieces, as far as im concerned it fair play to get some payback.
But he's whining now and asking for bans, when he gets back from Vegas/Dublin I hope he can reflect on his recent numptyism and promise he'll be a different person(probably SaintsFan08)and man up.

 

I think it might be time for both sides to call a halt to the personal stuff. I mean the serious, hurtful, personal stuff. I've had some gentle piss taking done here and handed some out. But, it's always been a lighthearted poke where somebody has left themselves open with their comments.

Sucky and I are constantly taking the piss out of each other. He's a great guy ( for a Pool fan ) and very funny, and one of my favourite posters on here. But it's never turned nasty!

 

For me, if you you're Wumming about a team, a city, whatever. That's one thing. Once you start aiming at the poster, you'd better be careful or it can turn nasty.

Most people have taken his mouser watch threads ok. And if he gets abuse back about Spurs or even London, that's fair gane, IMO. But to repeat, you shoot back at the message, not the messenger.

 

You fail to see its him that generally throws the first insults.

 

Nah, tried like others on your board to have a go at Spurs and Tottenham as an area but the posters and the mods were having none of it and deleted the posts.
If I'm gonna get called a thief etc I'm ****ed if I'm not gonna have a dig back, but as you said in your earlier post, if he backs off so will the foes he's made through his rambling insults.

 

No, I don't see that. He starts some, as I've said. But it's got to the point where he gets personal insults all day. Even when he hasn't even posted anything that day

Pretty much sums it up. When you look at the amount of wum thread HIAG has started, is it any wonder he gets it shoved back in his face ?

I don't mind the wumming at all, it's when HIAG starts crying about being wummed back that it pisses me off.

 

The mods don't allow any personal insults. That includes from Spurs fans too. But anything else is ok, as far as I know. Unless it gets racial, or something.

Of course Spurs fans aren't going to like it, or agree. Any more than you Pool fans do.

 

Sorry, but talking personally, I have had numerous threads started about me over a number of years. There's also barely a comment that passes that doesn't bring 'pixie' into it. So I am well within my right to wum the **** out of HIAG. The fact that he is a bit **** at it is what causes his eventual meltdown.

Also 7am isn't early you lazy ****, I'm usually well into my morning MTB trail by that time.

 

Tbh you're wrong there mate, on the mouser thread anything including racism was allowed when it was aimed at us, the aftermath of Suarez/Evra, any dig at Spurs footballwise was also frowned upon and deleted.
Not that it matters now but the author of the thread sat back and laughed his bollocks off at the insults flying our way, and so what goes around comes around, its just the way it is.
