The fact you chose to ignore the team currently in 4th says you’re not big on reality. There was nothing else to read btw lol, you’re **** at this <laugh>

    Disagree...Will walk immediately.
Can not see him not having a transfer budget agreement in place when he joined so if it ain't stuck to he'll walk imho.

do you think the budget money will be from the sale of Kane or owner dipping in pocket as Kane isn’t leaving

Think that Conte wouldn't have taken the job unless he was promised money.
If he was told you have to sell Kane to get money I also think he'd not have taken the job.
If ksne goes that'll be additional money imo.

Everything he said the other day suggests otherwise though. He was talking about improving the coaching, the fitness and how Conte isn't afraid to promote players from the youth squad.

Levy has sunk £400m into this squad since the new stadium opened. I think Conte has been brought in to try and kick these lot up the arse and get more out of them

If Conte joined thinking he can turn Sanchez, Dele, Doherty, Lo Celso, Clarke, Ndombele, Gollini, Winks, Bergwijn, Rodon, Davies, Sessegnon and Dier into genuine top 4 players then he has not watched the team or read about them.

If they were relegated or sold there wouldn't be any regret from spurs fans.

13 ffs ... and that's after we got rid of Rose, Sissoko and Aurier in the last window <laugh>

Imho either we sign players or Conte walks.

Our squad is full of dross

We've spent £290m since the ground opened...

    19/20 £130m
    20/21 £100m
    21/22 £60m

And in that time we made £100m in sales.

Wos he going on about here then ?

“Since opening the stadium in April, 2019, we have spent almost £400m on players. Player spending is no guarantee of success, and our focus must be on improved recruitment, coaching, fitness and a competitive mindset."

Maybe the rest was his wages ? <whistle>

Tbf RCL is right. Levy was laying it on thick as usual to make out what a great chairman he is in committing funds. He's full of **** though. In terms of actual outlay it's about £100m

And he gave assurances to Conte that he'd back him ....

Economical with the truth. But that's Levy.

Yeh he backs everyone...until he doesn't.

Spuds now on their 4th Chelea manager in a vain hope they can emulate the geatness shown whilst at Londons greatest club saw another capitulation tonight against a weakened Chelsea side. Should have been out of reach for the hapless Spuds and have to thank the only player to turn up tonight, Loris.

Another laughable game. Reminds me of a FL Cup match semi final v Chelsea ,years ago when Spurs played the first leg at the Shed toilet and lost by a goal. In the 2nd leg at The Lane,Spurs were leading by 2 goals and were going through to Wembley. Then something weird happened.Chelsea got a free kick outside the box. Someone took it and it was heading towards the goal where Cyril Knowles was standing. Cyril lifted his foot to clear it,missed it.....and Chelsea went to Wembley.Lets hope Cyril's ghost will make up for it in the coming second leg to overcome Chelsea's luck and Conte's butt kicking!
