What can we say. When Spurs are good they are the best. When Spurs are crap they stink. As far as I'm concerned.....they stink......and we lost to the biggest stinkers before yesterday. Come on Spurs, have a bit of pride for God's sake!!!! You just saved the United's manager his job(?)!

When Spurs are good they are a top 6 side

    I agree

You lost to a team of highly skilled individuals that lack any cohesion or tactical organisation

Yeah thank you for that <ok>

Seems Spurs will be looking in the same manager pool as Newcastle. Who will get big Sam first

Nuno Espirito Santo’s immediate future as Tottenham manager is in doubt following yesterday’s 3-0 home defeat by Manchester United.

The former Wolves boss has struggled to impose an attractive style at Spurs since his appointment in the summer and results have nosedived since they started the season with three successive victories.

Tottenham failed to register a shot on target during yesterday’s reverse.

Chairman Daniel Levy and managing director of football Fabio Paritici have held talks about Nuno’s future, even though the Portuguese has only been in charge for 17 games.

If Levy decides to act, Paulo Fonseca could come back into the frame.

The former Roma boss was on the brink of being appointed in the summer until he was ditched in favour of Gennaro Gattuso, only for the former Italy midfielder to prove unsuitable due to some questionable comments that appeared on social media.

It’ll cost Spurs a tidy sum to bin off Nuno and his entourage after only a few months. Levy will need counselling

I honestly think 10 games isnt long enough, really.
If they were down where Norwich are, I'd get it. But 10 games isnt long enough, especially when the guy hasn't really been able to make the team his own.

How they’re playing is what he delivers though, tedious football with few chances created, you’d have thought Spurs management might have done their due diligence and realised this before hiring him like, but they’d got to near the bottom of their list and just took him in desperation imo.

I agree, 10 games is nothing but I think the problem he's got is the fans didn't seem to want him, not sure if Levy really wanted him either. At the end Wolves fans had turned on him,his first season in the Championship and their first in the PL, it looked as though they'd got themselves a gem but it turned sour after, when he took a more negative approach

It'll be pennies in comparison to how much it cost sacking Jose and his staff.

He was only given a two year deal and is rumoured to be on a very, very moderate wage.

It's almost as if we knew he'd be **** but gave him the job anyway, seems to be the style of decision making at the club these days.

It appears he had that much faith in his ability that he had a one season break clause put in the contract.

So he won’t be expensive to put to sleep, I reckon he’s gone either tomorrow morning or as soon as Levy lines up his replacement

The issue is he walked into a club and changing room that was already highly toxic after a dire 2 years with Maureen sucking the life out of us.

Whoever the new manager was, he had to hit the ground running. Most Spurs fans didn't go into this season expecting a title challenge. Honestly after the shambles of last season, we'd have been happy to see some decent football, players looking like they gave a damn and maybe a challenge for the top 6. Nothing more. For a club that charges the highest ticket prices in the land that is absolute pittance to request in return.

We are currently getting none of the above. The players clearly don't buy in to Nuno's philosophy and appear to have already downed tools. Pampered little ****s the lot of them but it is always easier to replace one person than an entire squad.

Truth be told he hasn't helped himself at all. From bizarrely sticking to the 433 formation that delivered 2 years of bilge to setting us up to look exactly like we did tactically under Maureen (although this time even Kane and Son are broken), to changing the entire starting XI for european games and still looking lethargic at the weekend, plenty of Nuno's decisions have been iffy to say the least which is why he is getting little sympathy from the fans.
