... whilst a trip to the moon might, aguably, be deemed more plausible than some of his stories by some ... please refrain from tarring 'us' all with the same brush ...

.... for instance, I may have inferred it being more likely that he was in Blackpool than Vegas but not with any real malice, intent or conviction ... and certainly no different to the piss I have taken out of others .... similarly I haven't really commented on the car crash incident, other than to question why he had left the driving to his missus ... something I found genuinely puzzling, all things considered.

He has made claims to various professions, qualifications and activities, largely in attempts at 'one upmanship' over posters he has been at odds with ... that he has then been questioned on the validity of such claims has more to do with his seeming lack of reasonably expected knowledge on particular aspects, rather than any conspiracy or collective bullying ...

Each of us on here could be anything ... that's true ... I hint at the area I work in but would not disclose too much ... my choice ...

What we do all know as fact, is that he was unable to keep to the terms of a bet he freely entered into - he's also now perceived by many as a 'poor loser' as he seems unable to accept being proven to be wrong when he has been. Such things have undoubtedly damaged his perception / credibility and lost him some general respect ... he will claim he is not bothered ... but his inabilty to move on from such occasions suggests strongly otherwise.

You seem to take a view that he should be impervious to any criticism? If he was an Arsenal poster I think it's fairly safe to say that your attitude to him would be completely different ... mine, in contrast, would be entirely consistent, no matter what team he supported.... even it it were my own.

 

In a nutshell

To be fair, Spurlock as admitted that he only sticks up for HIAG because he's a fellow Spud. If he was a Gooner coming out with the **** he does and it was about Spurs, it's guaranteed he'd be ripping the piss out of him like the rest of us.

 

Of course Hiag is open to criticism. Hiag is no Commachio or Billy the bastard that I need to pull him in line. Hiag makes me giggle just like A87 used to make me giggle and on many occasions I would get pelters from him. I even petitioned to have him re instated.

I can understand how you feel though because last seasons PL race created new relationships of different scopes for different folks. I could handle personalities like A87 because regardless of the pisstaking I knew there was no real beef. So I just learned how to roll with him. A87 gives me ratings even though I wished him to be buried under the new WHL under construction. He accused me of instigating the Tottenham riots. It's all good, that was just A87 going crazy..there was no hate because it never crossed lines like Comm et al. Oh I did once threaten to stab A87...but we laughed that off.

I'd have him re instated tomorrow.

 

Same with HIAG really, he seems to roll with the punches (and he gets a lot) I did push him over the edge that time he threatened to call the Old Bill, but in the main he seems to take the relentless piss taking on the chin.

To be fair mate, I haven't seen anybody raging, just the usual bantz. The piskie/HIAG thing is just HIAG trying his very best to try and get one over on me, but failing pretty spectacularly each time. He just can't seem to help walking into his own traps and secretly I reckon even you would admit, it's pretty funny. He does get himself wound up at times, but when he goes back to claiming he's a wum master etc, I know he's retreated to his 'safe place' and it's all gravy again.

Pixie's so-called banter has always been at the nastier end of the scale. It's laced with spite and hatred. The only people who follow him with any degree of conviction - Skiddy and Bambi - are those who, like him, appear to have a massive chip on their shoulders regarding whatever it is that I represent to them.

Initially, it annoyed me; but, now, I find it vaguely amusing, and something to have a bit of fun with.
