I am still offering you a Cash Out option on our wager - where you get to have the avatar I choose for you for 3 months rather than the 6 months as per the t&c of our bet.

Do you concede yet or will you wait till the January sales to see what bargains Levy gets in or if Poch walks, followed by Kane next summer

If Kane is not careful he will be too old to win anything when Levy agrees a fair price for him

Real Madrid are holding out for £30m for Dani Ceballos after Arsenal offered £26m for the 23-year-old midfielder, currently on loan at Emirates Stadium. (Eldesmarque - via Metro)

But the Spanish giants may no longer be interested in Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, 27, as a result of the fine form of Uruguay midfielder Federico Valverde, 21. (Sun)

Spuds, how do you feel about missing out on Caballos now that he looks set to join Arsenal permanently ?

And would you rather sell Eriksen in January or keep him until the end of the season and then lose him on a free ?

A creative midfield player worth £26m won't improve our squad....
If we sell Eriksen at January at a fair price then that is exactly the same value as keeping him so I care little either way. As you should know well as an Arsenal fan it is impossible to keep players past their contract end without paying massively over the odds ( eg Ozil).

... but you are unlikely to sell him for a 'fair price' ... you will either have to accept a relative pittance of his real market value or let him walk for nowt in the summer ... Dodgy Dan has fooked up big time ... somebody is in for a bargain, ... <laugh>

The 'market value' of a player is entirely dependent on how long his contract is. we have several times offered him a vast increase in wages to extend but he didn't accept. So we've had him for a bargain wage for ages.
