I don't care if Arsenal spend £700m or make a profit of £40m... because that money means nothing to me as I don't receive any of it whether it's saved or not. Financials mean nothing to me. If the club has money, they might as well spend it. If they're not going to spend it, what else are they going to do with it? Have it sitting in a bank account? If Spurs save money, do they pass some of it over to YOU? Why does Spurs having money sitting in a bank account fill you with pride? Just don't get it.

You think Arsenal spending money they have and getting three FA cups is throwing money away, yet Spurs spending on Aurier, Sissoko, N'Koudou, N'Jie, Soldado, Paulinho, Janssen, Llorente et al and winning nothing ISN'T throwing away money just because it's covered up a net zero spend. Just a very bizarre stance to take.

 

He's not even a Spurs fan. He's a Canadian who decided to support Swansea for some unknown reason, but has a terrible penchant for talking utter **** about Arsenal and sucking up to the Spurs lads.

 

And swilling paint thinners.

You’re way premature on Aurier. Llorente is worth what we paid. Sissoko has improved quite a bit. And you’re conveniently forgetting that we bought Eriksen with the same money. Who’s probably worth near on the whole Bale money on his own.
