Full time job. My job's part time and it's holding me back soooooo much!

You'll still be able to make some Toon games and in a few years time you'll be in a MUCH stronger position.

Take the well paid one mate. You gotta up sticks sometime. So it gets you money for that. I suppose you could even buy a motor to whisk you and your lass around in ;) And, look at it this way...if your last job was full time, and now you've taken a part time job, with no real reason. Its going to look bad on your CV.

Yeh, fair enough, you might miss the Toon, but I work most Saturdays, so I dont get to see them a great deal either. It just makes it all the more exciting when I finally do get to go and see them.

Take the well paid job, and try to get to the game whenever you can. I wouldn't sacrifice a good job that sounds like it has a future (promotions e.t.c.) just to get to every game.

You've got to take the best job you can, not many people work part time through choice and you're young you will cope with shift work. Once you get your feet under the table, you may find someone who'll swap the occasional shift with you. I work in retail and I'm expected to work either a Saturday or a Sunday, sometimes both. Last season I never missed a home game, this season I missed Man City on boxing day. Every body had to work so I couldn't swap with anyone. I always work the rubbish shifts, if anyone asks me for a swap I always say yes, that means I don't feel so bad if I need a particular day off. I've noticed we have a few posters on here who work away from home, many of them are season ticket holders like yourself, you've just got to bite the bullet sometimes.

Take the full time job like the rest of us. If you do want to stay at home longer give some of the extra money you have to your folks.

What the **** happened to have one's cake and eat it too? Take the job and make a little sacrifice. At the end of the day, it's a football match..they come and they go, full time jobs with good pay however do not. Wake up.
