If we could travel at the speed of light we would still be slower than light because we weigh more

He should watch The Planets with Brian Cox. Excellent viewing... and he might learn something.

Venus (the 2nd planet from the sun) is hotter than Mercury (the closest to the sun).

This is because of the "runaway greenhouse effect" caused by Venus CO2 atmosphere.

If you stripped away Venus atmosphere its temperature would drop to - 90c

The phrase "rule of thumb" is derived from an old English law which stated that you couldn't beat your wife with anything wider than your thumb.

I think that even stood until the late 70s.

  7. If that’s true, how come so-called “black holes” emit energy?

Only emits it from the outside I thought. It's a collapsing star isn't it?

  9. First hand experience, yeah?

  10. Outside what?

Not even light (so it is claimed) can escape a black hole’s event horizon. Yet, it has long been observed that “black holes” emit particles from their poles.

Therefore, using the logic of these so-called physicists, these particles must be traveling faster than the speed of light.

Just one of the very many arguments that prove that the theory of the existence of black holes is bollocks.

The event horizon is the point (iirc) at which something is caught by the black hole's gravitational pull and cannot escape. Anything outside of that (light or energy) is where it is being emitted. A black hole converts mass into energy, which (among other things) is what is happening with a collapsing star.

Tardigrades can survive in the most hostile environment known to human – space!

They can survive for 10 days straight. In an experiment conducted in 2007, Tardigrades were actually taken to space in dehydrated state and they were exposed to outer space’s perfect vacuum and extreme solar UV radiations and left there for 10 days.

They were brought back on earth and rehydrated. Within 30 minutes they were back to life. After returning from such extreme conditions, they were found to produce perfectly healthy and viable embryos!

we are taking about things with a mass

    but here is your answer

You're assuming that the gravitational pull of the black hole prevents light from escaping because the pull is "faster" than the light. That's not how it works. Gravity exerts a force; it doesn't have a speed.

For an object escaping from a gravity well, that force causes the object to slow down. For light escaping from a gravity well, since the speed of light is constant, it doesn't slow down; instead, it loses energy, shifting toward longer wavelengths. For a black hole's gravity well, the light loses so much energy that it can't escape at all.

Imagine if they are in that state under the surface of Mars and some fcker goes there and adds a bit of water unknowingly and it gets inside his astronaut suit and returns to Earth.

    Game Over, just sayin

  17. Look into it.

The particles are definitely being emitted from the so-called black hole. There is no disputing that as fact.

As I said before, it is one of many arguments against the existence of black holes.

I can thoroughly recommend Eric Lerner's "The Big Bang Never Happened," as well as the myriad of video presentations on YouTube by The Thunderbolts Project.

These guys are even capable of surviving extreme pressure. Most of the species can withstand 1,200 times the normal atmospheric pressure however, there are some species that can withstand 6,000 times atmospheric pressure. That’s 6 times the pressure water puts at the bottom of Mariana Trench!

You into space and astrophysics etc?

The universe is expanding but scientists have shown its expansion to be slowing down at a rate which suggests that gravitational pull will eventually cause it to contract. Many believe that in the end it will result in the reverse of a big bang... to nothing. They even suggest that actually the universe is in a perpetual cycle of Big Bang, expansion, contraction and back to nothingness, AND that this Big Bang was not the first and could be one of a number of infinite Big Bang events that have already occurred.

    Let that sink in.
