If we stick him up on his own and hit high balls at him he won't have a chance, but if he gets to play off the shoulder of the last defender a la Vardy, it could work. He could also thrive if the midfield players get far enough forward to link with him. We'll never know if we don't give him a chance.

For my bit on it. We paid £3m for Washington and i know he hasn't played every game but he needs to start scoring. We should have bought Wells when he would have cost £1m. I remember at the time thinking he only costs £1m and scores goals but Harry didn't fancy him (then again Harry was a disaster other than the Play off final).

 

Can't believe our Stanley would have said that. He'd have quoted the odds on it.

so far ive managed to find out that unbelievabley brentford have won 20 against qpr and qpr have won 22 so its so very tight i think you would have to be a cerny apologist to work this out
