Summer signing Connor Wickham starts his first game for Sunderland this afternoon as the Black Cats take on Bolton Wanderers.

Wickham has been named in the starting line-up for the game at the Reebok Stadium alongside the returning Nicklas Bendtner.

Meanwhile Lee Cattermole drops to the bench with John O'Shea taking the captain's armband, while Kieran Richardson keeps his place as Phil Bardsley only makes the bench.

Wudnt be my team exactly but its a hell of a lot better then of late. With all this talk of 4-4-2 I was half expecting the double bluff and stick to the 4-4-1-1, haway the lads!!!

cannt really argue with that like rico played good last wk, shame catts was dropped tho thought he had one of his better games but good to see him changing the formation if we dont win now its down to the players because thats probably one of the best teams we can put out imo
