I would like to pick up Tiote. Ranger isn't going to be playing until Europe.

 

Ok guys, with the transfer window coming up, I shall add players heavily linked to the Toon to the squad list. This means they are available to be selected, at the obvious cost of not scoring any points until they play, and at the obvious risk that we don't sign them at all!!! The benefit is getting in there early for a player who could come in and excite Tash more than a free bar.

So far Remy is available.

Of course, for those in the cup, you will score 0 points and there are a few fixtures til Jan.

I'm going to give the ratings from now on, and withdraw from the comp, as Tash seems to close down when Colo has a shocker.

Here's my ratings from yesterday:

Krul 4 - Useless passenger. Couldn't blame him too much for most of the goals, but he obviously doesn't communicate with the defenders at all.
Santon 4 - Pretty woeful defensively.
Colo 4 - Miserable again
Perch 4 - Not great at centre back, but why make it worse with such an obviously flawed tactic?
Simpson 2 - Gave away a couple of goals by himself.
Obertan 7 - Did a good job in attack
Bigi 6.5 - Decent performance
Tiote 5 - Was good first half, poor second half.
Marveaux 7.5 - Some very good quality.
Ba 7 - Good finishes
Cisse 5 - Ok
Shola 3 - Did nowt when he came on

Back 5 were collectively awful. Perch on that goal where Colo headed it off the bar was disgraceful to be honest. Obertan, Cisse both cost us goals having a bit kip and bottling it. Obertan looking good going forward bumps him up a bit. Marveaux was superb. Bigi and Tiote failed to locate B&W shirts all evening. Ba was excellent, his holding up of the ball was first class. Stroller was shocking.

And DT was on the phone a second ago stating that I'd become notorious for stingy ratings compared with tash's generosity...

To be honest after that display you can't do much more than divy out bad scores! Glad ours are quite close, I must not be completely horrible at it

 

Most were 7 or 8's at half time. And though it was largely down to tiredness, you can't base your marks on sympathy for factors causing a drop in performance, you can only hand out marks on their performance over the 90 mins. I'm not upset because I knew it was coming but the defending was crap regardless of the reasons why.
