I'm still not convinced by that - the fact Evra said something in Spanish doesn't imply a whole conversation. I can call someone a ****ing **** in Russian, but I wouldn't call that a full conversation, nor would I understand all their cultural niceties.
sky this is all fine, i am of the opinion 4 matches was ok as i thought something was said but in the end you forgot one thing... you speak english mate so you doing saying the word you say = english word... if you were speaking Spanish though... COME ON! english is not spanish and spanish is not english. do you think evra naturally speaks spanish or did he spend half the game trying other insults in english before settling on spanish to goad the guy? as per if its a word is common use eg hernandez interview prior to coming to england then i'm afraid taboo is ott. I think theres a big big difference between speaking in spanish and including one word and the phrases the fa believe evra heard. i find that simple.. if a guy can't even say black oh not balck b like terry but the black guy then the whole world is gone mad... berbs is right, the FA have decided it is repeated use (though i can't see where 7 times comes from still) and also context of suarez's actions when comapred to what he said he was doing that is the issue at hand. lets not beat up every spainish speaker like de gea or hernandez etc if their lagnuage used the word for the colour!

I wouldn't be surprised if every top footballer who's played in Europe is familiar with all the common international insults - the Spanish one Evra's supposed to have used is apparently pretty common. Football and swearing are the global languages after all That and your exceptional record of achieving high levels of value when buying English players
