I backed Apres Le Deluge when he won his bumper many moons ago. Morrison never got him going over hurdles but hopefully FOB will do a better job. Has a serious motor. Have you seen him at the yard at all?

I have indeed, he is a lovely looking horse who they haven't had very long (registered 1st June). I am a bit surprised they aren't going down the handicapping route off a mark of 110, but this doesn't look a good race and he is getting 7lbs from the top horse who is rated 120. If they've got him straight (I haven't seen him on the gallops) then I think he is the most likely winner today. Interesting that they've gone for the tongue tie too.

Did it well Nass although still far from the finished article

He did indeed. Paddy won the race with a move down the back when he jumped alongside the top weight. He then pushed him ahead of that horse and the top weight then got boxed in behind slowing horses.

As you say, he isn't a finished article, and I think we will see even more when he sees a fence. Hopefully the handicapper doesn't put him up too much (not sure he can on the pure form) and he can continue improvement in handicaps. Just need Keith (Imperial) for a double too!

Winners for the thread today, and a massive return of £1.40 profit for the day :1980_boogie_down:

It doesn't tell the full story of my day, but it is what it is!

Sorry, had a few other things going on that mean this thread isn’t being updated daily. Will try and keep it up to date for the jumps meetings.

Hi Nass I am no fan of Crowley but he seems to win when I select something else in a race, often on a fav.

Just wondered what his strike rate/profit was on favs and also when he rides in those blue colours with white epaulettes
