I see the Moody Blues still going strong and sounding great are currently on their Timeless Flight North American tour (later in UK), with a couple of Canadian performances at Niagara Falls (be it the Casino). I wouldn't mind seeing them, but a bit of a hike from where I live in the Atlantic region.

I like this band and had never heard of them until you posted a few of their tracks on here, that's why I love this thread, discovered lots of music I was unaware about.

How was the floyd gig mate?

Floyd gig was ace mate - will post some video once I get it loaded. Pity about the two couples who were sat in front of me who chatted all way through whilst their wives surfed facebook :headbang::headbang:

Thats so annoying. This reminds me of when I went to go see RHCP,s at Hyde park quite a few years back. Me and a couple of mates managed to blag some front of the stage "inner circle" tickets. This area sadly is meant for the posh rich gits and corporate scumbags who should be banned from going to these gigs in my opinion.

Me and a few mates were so excited that we were so close to the stage and not in our rightful place with all the other common people behind the back of the inner circle fence. Anyway James Brown was on stage and did a couple of songs before the Peppers came on. OK this was a couple of years before James passed away and his voice had gone many years back, no problem for us. I was just in complete awe that there was this absolute legend standing right in front of me and I could say to people I saw James Brown live.

What really got my goat was the posh rich or corporate ticket holders within this front of stage inner circle most likely had no clue who he was. Me and my mates were quite tanked up (drunk) and had a great crack dancing around and singing (trying to) to the Peppers and James. This seemed to annoy the s**t out of the nice but dim posh rich ticket holders which made us do so even more.

We had a great time but the atmosphere would have been even better if they did away with these stupid areas and let the real paying fans up close to the stage.

Have a good time tonight which I'm sure you will mate!
