Now Joe is a funny one for me. I know he is a very good guitarist and very talented. I used to listen to Planet Rock where I worked once and they played lots of his stuff.

For me lost of his stuff sounds too similar and I get board with it a bit quick. Only my opinion.

I used to listen to Planet Rock regularly a few years back and was on their forum before they f*cked it up. Hasn't been the same since Rob Birnie left...

Yep, I liked the American afternoon presenter, name escapes me now. Anyway it was worth it just to hear him do the traffic reports and struggle pronouncing towns.

That'd be Darren Redick, he sometimes sounded a bit like Lloyd Grossman at times, not really a rockjock's voice...

Not much good new music comes out now imo, but love this band.....for an oldish g.it I feel pretty much on trend with this!:1980_boogie_down:

Lol, I love this band and to think it's only a drummer and bass player. I have banned myself from posting this as I don't want to annoy Sooper!

Also they have often sited Led Zepplin and Queens of the Stone age as massive influences so that's good enough for me.

haha glad you like RB too mate....anyway back to more familiar stuff for me. One of my favourite rock bands of the era, Budgie.......enjoy!!

Cheers, I went a bit OTT a few pages back waxing lyrical about this band and I'v pretty much posted every track from their top top debut album.
