Was supposed to be seeing Brix Smith tonight with Mrs Steels, but a) I'm away and b) gig got cancelled, bit of a result with a nice refund!!

Did you go see Guns and Roses when they played Wellington @kiwiqpr ? Mrs Steels and her pal just got tickets to see them in Glasgow in a couple of weeks, and looking at their previous shows it's gonna be a long night!

Was a long show
Was a good show
Disappointed with the support acts
Funnily enough I went to a show on Saturday with the head of wellington stadium security and he said the support acts had trouble with the sound system
Explains the chats
Axel looked like he was enjoying himself which he didn't appear to be doing the time before

The Pretenders supporting at the Glasgow show, Mrs loves them.

We enjoyed The Chats when we saw them, much more intimate venue though

Really wanted to enjoy the chats
Sound was piss poor
If you didn't already know the songs you wouldn't know what they were singing
Eldest saw them in a small venue and said they were good
Alien weaponry also supported g n r but I stayed in the pub while they were on

The Saw Doctors | Big Announcement & Ticket Competition
I”m writing from The Saw Doctors dressing room in Kilconly, Tuam after a brilliant ‘warm up’ gig tonight by Davy, Leo and the lads. I have big news: The Saw Doctors have confirmed a London concert for November and have announced one more Dublin Olympia show.

The Saw Doctors will play the Hammersmith Apollo in London on Thursday November 23rd with tickets going on sale this coming Friday June 16th at 9am.

Following two sellout shows, The Saw Doctors will play a third gig at Dublin Olympia Theatre on Saturday October 14th with the Olympia tickets going on sale on Wednesday June 14th at 10am from Ticketmaster.ie bit.ly/3MQb9Cn

The Hammersmith Apollo, formerly known as Hammersmith Odeon and now branded as the London Eventim Apollo, is both a standing and a seated venue these days, approx 50:50.

The London tickets will be on sale from three online ticket sites on Friday with the majority of tickets available from the Eventim Apollo ticket site. (London tix go on sale at 9am Friday).

I would be grateful if you would share the London gig poster below with all your friends on Facebook, Instagram and other social media outlets.

I have a competition for two tix to the London gig by The Saw Doctors at the Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday November 23rd. To enter, just answer the following question and email your answer to [email protected]

Last November The Saw Doctors played a sold out ‘comeback’ gig at which London venue:

A) Shepherds Bush Empire
B) Royal Albert Hall
C) o2 Arena
D) Abba Arena
E) Brixton Academy

There are just 500 tickets left for The Saw Doctors big Manchester Gig at Castlefield Bowl on Saturday July 1st. I can’t believe 7,500 tickets have already sold for this outdoor gig which will also feature Damien Dempsey, The Mary Wallopers and Seb Lowe.
