Well the England result was a positive yesterday, especially as.Mrs Steels got given a last minute ticket to see The Cure last night, supported by Twilight Sad - gutted I couldn't go. They did a three hour set too <wah> including this classic...

As someone on YouTube said, bet John Lewis wish they had waited for this before releasing their Christmas pish...the Gedge maestro smashes it again, years ago this would've made it to the Christmas number 1 but it'll probably be that Greggs sausage roll guy again <laugh>

RIP Christine<peacedove><rose>
Great song but I have to say I prefer the Eva Cassidy cover. There is something about that woman's voice which is so poignant - probably the fact that he died in her prime from cancer before most people had even heard of her

Enjoy The Chats - ****in brilliant!
Missed alien weaponry as I was drinking elsewhere
Was disappointed with the chats as they sounded terrible on a pa set up for guns and roses
If you didn't know smoko you wouldn't have known what they were singing
G n r were magnificent
Better than five years ago and I had no complaints then
They played for over three hours

I saw them in a small venue, they were great. Seen a few bands who struggle with the transition to large outdoor venues - certain types of music really need to be listened to and seen in confined spaces - The Chats style would definately be one.
