I saw these years ago, supporting The Pogues. It was Shane MacGowans 60th birthdat recently, and they held a tribute gig in Dublin in his honour last night, with Nick Cave, Bono, Sinead O'Connor, Johnny Depp, Glen Matlock and Carl Barat amongst the names playing. He's now in a wheelchair due to some of his excesses, a sad sight I'd imagine - the last time I saw him he looked very frail.
