How dare you include Jane's crap-diction with FNM and RHCP????? Not even in the same class!!!! I was there in 1989/1990 at the Astoria and Brixton Academy! Saw them both!

RHCP sold out after that. Blood Sugar Sex Magic made them massive, and that was end of them. They were a far better band and more entertaining when they were an indie and associated with skate punks like me, when we could still get close to them at smaller venues and stage-dive as Flea kicked you in the back! That's how it was and that's how so many of them change.

They were my top 3 bands at the time, can't leave out Janes Addiction because as much as Perry Farrell's voice is an acquired taste for some they were fantastic live. Shame inter-band politics saw the end of the best FNM line up, they could have gone on to do so much more and I take your point about the Chili Peppers although the One Hot Minute album they did with Dave Navarro (from Janes coincidently) was excellent. Not liked anything much of theirs since.

Yappy, please don't slag off anyones post if it's not to your liking my friend, that's not what I wanted this thread to be about when I started it. It's all just a matter of opinion. Please just ignore anything that's not to your liking dude<ok>

This thread moves faster than Usain Freaking Bolt! <laugh> I'll check back and 'like' the many sounds I've missed. I'm sure there are many. Keep it up guys. When the football's ****e (and when isn't it) we still have this. Oh, and thanks for doing over Ipswich! <cheers>
