Just in from watching Jnr Monkey and his band playing in Glasgow - very good too, but pity we had to leave the venue at 9:15 as they are only 14....other bands sounded good at soundcheck!

I was at a classical spectacular at the Albert Hall last Sunday and the climax was the 1812 Overture complete with cannons, muskets, lasers and pyrotechnics which was pretty dazzling. This is a snippet from a previous concert, the special effects are now far more sophisticated than this but it gives you a flavour of what it's all about...
