Very true, there are records I listened to in my teenage years that I knew so well I even remembered some of the 'impurities' that were prevalent in the vynil era and now find that many of these have been eliminated in the remastering for CDs and somehow these records just aren't the same anymore. One of the most noteable was 'The Joker' by Steve Miller, I had the original single version and listening to it on headphones it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, it was stunningly atmospheric. The digital version was totally homogenised, it had no 'balls' if you get my drift. So many other records of that era just don't do it in digital format, such a shame to lose so many masterpieces...

Most the music I liked during my teenage years was composed/created way before my time tbh. I do love lots of music from my teenage era but also think so much of it to this day was a load of crap. Call me a snob if you like, I guess it's all just a matter of opinion. I always would say that it's not sh!t just because I don't like it<ok>

Also there is plenty of good new music, my main gripe is these days you have to dig a little harder to find it, and thats why I love these forum music threads that are non commercial and I discover plenty of music that I would not know where to find<cheers>

Used to like milk until one day at Wormholt the milk froze in the playground. The teacher made us thaw it out on the radiators and it tasted f'in awful. Never liked since.

My first 2 singles was, as I said above, Acker Bilks Stanger on the Shore and the theme from Z-Cars. (what a nerd I was) Both bought from that great record store in Shepherds Bush Market.
