Just out, brand new track (first for years, I think) by Shed Seven, one of the best bands of the Britpop era....we're off to see them for the regular "Shedcember" gigs at the end of the year - if you've never seen them, get yourselves a ticket (if there's any left - two nights at Barrowlands up here sold out in under an hour....)

Check out 'Pink Up' from the new album and also an older track 'the ghost of you lingers'..... In my view the best song to listen to through headphones as the use of stereo as the different chords, voices and sounds hit each ear is fabulous

So, normally on a Friday I work my way through a pile of new releases, but today I've been listening to the Spoon back catalogue - very good, thanks pal - this one was the stand-out for me, and this live version from KEXP is even better than the album one......
