Here's a couple from an excellent 80s band The Christians. An interesting fact about them is the band's name was taken from the surname of three brothers in the band and the fourth member was Henry Christian Priestman...

Cheers, I'm no Gentle Giant expert but I do love their sound, post whatever Giant songs you like when you get time. I would like to discover more of this very talented and underrated gem of a band.

They just don't make them like they used too...

Looks like we're in the same boat re GG!....I never really explored their music all those decades ago, although I was aware of them...bought their first album a few months ago to discover them more. Another band along these lines and sound are Gryphon, sort of medieval prog!!!!
