Some footage from last night......I've been to some special gigs in my years, but that was totally mind-blowing. We were about 2ft from the stage, and the whole show was amazing, with light effects, video screens, flying balls and even a ****ing spaceship!! Any one else who's going to see them this year (Norway....?), you're in for a treat.!! Not my footage, but quite good sound
Glad you had a good time dude. A mate of mine went on Friday and he took loads of video footage on his Iphone which came out very good. Top production, even if like me your not really a fan of Muse I would have been blown away by that production Despite what I just said about not being a huge fan I do have huge respect for them as musicians, the drummer especially!
I took my son with me, and he was reeling from sensory overload - and to top it off, as they were leaving the stage Dominic Howard looked him in the eye, grinned and gave him the "Rocker" sign - must've twigged him for a fellow drummee - which perfectly finished off the evening. His band have got their first festival gig this weekend, doing a half hour acoustic set, which he's also hyper about!
Nice, and...he got to shag a young Charlotte Rampling. Some of us are destined to miss out on the finer things in life!
Purple Rain, Sign o The Times and Parade are three of the best albums of the 80's. The Sign o The Times film is spectacular, what an enormous talent we have lost today.... If you have a spare hour and a half, check it out... https://my.mail.ru/mail/passi_ua/video/49/80.html RIP Prince Rogers Nelson...
I tried to post some Prince stuff, but a lot of it has content blocked on YouTube Raspberry Beret is my fave, has special memories for me..... RIP Prince
Here you go Steels, it's one of my faves too. From his "Sgt Pepper" period. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/nm5864325?via=thumb_watch
My favourite is 'Diamond and Pearls' but there's no decent footage about. It's all blocked. I saw him live at the O2 in London in 2007 and he messed Diamonds & Pearls up by changing the arrangement to a piano arpeggio. Everyone who goes to see live music wants to see something resembling the original recording. Half of the audience walked out halfway through the show as he didn't play many of his hits. Those that he did he did an alternative version of. Very frustrating. Having said that he was still one of the greats. RIP Prince.
