And to lower the tone and the class, here's some rubbish from the early 80s, aptly dressed in binbags...
Lisa Hannigan wants to marry me and have rampant sex each and every day. Actually, that's just a recurring dream, here's a song while I have a cold shower:
Just stumbled across a tune I've not hear for years. Anita Baker-Sweet Love. Top tune for a sunny day.
Random but at work we were talking about 80's american tv shows and someone mentioned Street Hawk. Anyone remember that? So you had the super helicopter with Airwolf, the car with nightrider. I used to watch streethawk but for some reason it never worked as well for me anyway on a motorbike. Anyway I like Tangerine Dream and they did the jingle for the program which is probably why I liked it so much... Look how tacky the bike looks now. It looks like Blue Peter have tried and massively failed to make the bike look mean with double sided sticky tape and a few bog rolls and empty fairy liquid bottles please log in to view this image
Yes Yes Yes!!!! Thank you, love Elkie and Vinegar Joe - paid £15 for Six Star General on vinyl in 1990 somewhere in Islington, worth every penny
They appear to be http://www.placeboworld.co.uk/ They were playing in several places in the UK in March this year (yes, I know, we missed them). I'd never heard of them but like the sound UTRs ta v much
brilliant, one of the all time greats imho, my Mrs hated me listening to them so it was usually when I was decorating
I think placebo were very influenced by Joy Division, that's kind of why I chose that all time classic to follow. Top stuff and again tragic Ian left us so early and we did not get to enjoy more of his work!
