I stopped going to Reading quite a few years back now. Years back you used to get a more mixed age group but now it's predominantly 15 to 18 year olds. OK I'm 40 now which does not help. I would still go to Glastonbury tho. I'v still not been to one so need to do so before it stops. I don't think they will be doing many more which is a shame, That's what Iv read somewhere anyway.
I did Reading in 92 (Nirvana year - awesome), a couple of Glastonbury in late 90s, and then TitP when I moved up here, but you're right, they do seem to be catering to a younger audience (who's parents are obviously loaded cos there's no way a student can afford the tickets and beer prices are extravagant). That's why I've moved onto alternative festivals, but I want to do a big one overseas before I pack my tent up for good!
Just seen this was 25 years ago this week - amazing! Was lucky enough to be there - they never repeated the highs of that night
