Sorry how can it be without the greatest songwriter ever at the helm

Agreed, but it's a celebration of Shane with the remaining band members and guest vocalists. It'll be a good night....not the same, but good. Seen The Pogues with Shane many times over the years, was always a great party <cheers>

The album is superb....have bought tickets to see them in June!

Moody, reminds me of early Murder Capital with a touch of Fat Dog. Also some Joy Division vibes

Yes, saw some absolute classics over the years, and a sad coulpe where Shane was basically wheeled on and off.
Saw Joe Strummer heading them many years ago and it just wasnt right!
Im sure it will be a quality night though!

Been manic lately, I hate the end of March, all my clients trying to get jobs finished before end of financial year just means chaos...thankfully done for a few days, and a chance to catch up on some music. The new album by The Twilight Sad was out on Friday, gave it a few listens today....scorching! There's a lot of hurt in the making of this album, their first for 7 years. Family bereavment, mental health crisis, parenthood, all on top of touring the globe as the support act to The Cure. It's a great listen...

Went to see these guys last night in O2 Bournemouth as they mini-toured a warm-up set of gigs before a stadium tour. Great set, which changes every gig, and keeps things fresh. Bit of a squeeze with nine band members but crowd loved it.

These guys were support and really nice surprise as support for the night. Lively and fresh, sister/brother up front and sis loves a pose!

James always have put on a good show...been a few years since I last saw them, Tim Booth was a lot angrier last time I seen them, although that may have been due to the chaos at the festival we were at!

I like The Molotovs, they've been around a couple of years now but I've not managed to catch them live yet
