Watching the show, and every artist so far has been pretty ****ing amazing, must be a nightmare to be a judge on something like this
I hate Ticketmaster...their website and app is ****e. I buy a lot of tickets for gigs, and try to go direct through the artists websites, but most then redirect you through to Ticketmaster, although I have seen a swing towards See Tickets over the last couple of years. I've yet to be affected by Dynamic Pricing as most of the gigs I go to are lesser known bands in smaller.venues, but it's an absolute rip-off. I'm on the mailing lists of loads of bands too, so I regularly get pre-sale links to bypass any price-hikes. All the additional costs wind me up too....booking fee, processing fee etc...just have one ****ing price! And they don't even send you a physical ticket anymore (See Tickets do sometimes) which pisses me off as I've got a pile of old stubs which I like to go through every so often to remind me of some of the gigs I've been to - It"s a very large pile too DF Concerts, who are cited in that piece too, are located in Glasgow - their office is above King Tuts. My sons band do a lot of gigs for them, he's never had issues with them and they give a good cut to the artist, so they're not all bad
Fat Dog album out today...it's short, but it's great fun. Opening track reminds me a bit of KLF, mixed with a bit of Bloody Beetroots Also, bought tickets to see them in Feb
