That's a toughie....seeing Sleaford Mods soon, I know Mrs Steels would love to see Little Simz, but I quite like some of that line up on the Park Stage, Wet Leg and Dry Cleaning, followed.by St Etienne and Four Tet - what a show!
Looking at the full line-up, those two stages look the best one-day line-ups. Lots of good artists on the other days but you’d need a Star Trek transporter to jump around. Hoping streaming will do it for me . Looks like a wet/stormy/lightening afternoon for everyone at Worthy Farm today! Can’t hold back tradition.
On a road trip with Jnr to see my fam, currently on the M5.... No, we're not headed to Glasto, but not too far away!
Just subjected my poor mother to an hour of IDLES live at Glastonbury....I don't think she was too impressed
Been some great sets already today. Hard to keep up. Wet Leg and Dry Cleaning were very good. Arlo Parks has been a chill out while working. Looking forward to Khruangbin later.
Missed her set - but saw Foals giving it large and mighty on The Other Stage. Little Simz did well too on the West Holts. A brilliant first day. Not as impressed with the line-up for Saturday. Hoping to catch Gabriel’s, Squid, Black Midi and Leon Bridges. Of course a bit of Sir Paul won’t go amiss in the evening (after his warm-up at The Cheese & Grain on Friday in Frome).
Did you go? I'm not far away from Froome right now. Caught a bit of Little Simz. Black Midi and Squid - now that's a great day of music for me!
Frome/Sir Paul? Nah. I’m in Poole and all the tickets had to be bought at the box office - all sold in about an hour! Fantastic for the locals though. Foo Fighters did the same warm up routine there a years ago too. Enjoy family and squeezing in the music Steelsy!
He played in Frome last night.... Fans brave rain for McCartney's warm-up Glastonbury gig please log in to view this image Sir Paul McCartney's Glastonbury warm-up gig drew crowds of ticketless fans who braved the wet weather to listen from outside. Hundreds of people descended on the Cheese and Grain entertainment venue in Frome, Somerset, to catch a glimpse of the former Beatle on Friday. The gig came before Sir Paul, 80, is set to become Glastonbury's oldest headliner on Saturday. Beatles superfan Jenny McDonald said you could "get the gist" from outside. Just catching up with the Wet Leg set now, did Sleaford Mods earlier
Dry Cleaning set - loving it, until my mum said "that's enough of that" and turned the TV off good job she was out of the room when I watched Sleaford Mods
