You could imagine this being played in a late nite/early morning bar in Ibiza as the sun rises....nice and chilled
Was supposed to be seeing these Aussie punks tonight - now postponed til next March A quick song about doing a runner from a restaurant.....we've all been there, haven't we?
Yet another gig we should've been at - tonight supposed to be watching these guys, now moved to the end of October...
Probably not a good video to watch if you suffer from photosynthesis epilepsy. Absolutely not a good video to hear if you cant stand Radiohead @kiwiqpr
One of our first posts on this mighty thread.....just watched a program on BBC Scotland all about Dale Barclay and his life prior to passing away with brain cancer in 2018, only 32 - far too young Dale Barclay: All On Black: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000vmv8 via @bbciplayer
If Narrator and Paddling are anything to go by the album should be very good. Even my boy sent me a recommendation for Pamphlet and we had never talked about Squid before. Roll on May 7.
I've got this beauty on pre-order... The releases so far have been very good, so I'm really looking forward to hearing this in it's entirity. With this, and new Black Midi album at the end of the month, May is sounding good!! We we're supposed to see Squid last month, but it's now moved to September. Getting really hyped up about attending gigs, think this will be longest I've gone without seeing a live band in well over 30 years....last year was first time in over 20 years I hadn't been to a festival!
I was amazed to hear the soundtrack of this advert on TV recently, 50 years old it's 'The Four Horsemen' by Aphrodites Child, a Greek psychedelic group featuring none other than Demis Roussos and Vangelis who went on to worldwide fame in different fields... This is the album version, way ahead of their time...
Belting new track by Scalping - headphones on and turn up to 11.....hardcore industrial techno mixed with some post-punk drum and guitars - what a sound! Touch of Prodigy without the vocals maybe...
Just got tickets for Shed Sevens' tour in November. The Friday night sold out in seconds, luckily they then put the Saturday on and we've got the tickets - the sale caused Ticketmasters website to crash!!
