As much as I really liked their first album when we saw them at the end of last year it was the newer material that really excited me - much darker and heavier, moving away from the indie side of punk towards post-punk. Definate tones of Joy Division and The Fall in the three songs they've released so far. New album due at the end of the month, and tickets on sale for them at Barrowlands tomorrow - fingers crossed!!
Phew, that was stressful this morning - gig sold out in under 30 seconds! Thankfully they added a second date, but the website crashed due to over-demand - took me about 20 minutes to secure tickets, much to the our relief! Things definately getting back to some sort of normality - that's the fourth gig I've bought tickets for this week!
