If you watch till the end some good footage of when the 4-skins played at the Hamborough Tavern, Southall in the early 80’s and the riot that ensued when locals decided to burn the place down because of it. Legend has it that the landlord was on holiday and let someone else run the place while he was away and it was him that booked the band. Remember my Asian mates who lived there coming in to school on the Monday morning telling us stories of throwing petrol bombs at skinheads.....
I remember dancing to that tune off my nut when he played at Clapham Common a long time back and getting to shake the hand of the man himself......great times
As the world falls apart, it's great that tunes like this still get played on the radio (just been on 6Music) - turn the volume up, this is heavy.....
