What decade do you think was the best for bands with female singers? I think the boom of Britpoop was responsible for some very credible bands that didn't just have totty up front to sell the music so I'd vote for the 90's With other honourable mentions to Lush, Garbage and the slew of American bands like The Breeders. Which decade would you go for?
That's a tough ask but the 90's would most likely swing my vote Grove Also fair play, it had dawned on me that not enough female vocalist/artists get posted very often on here and I'm guilty as sin on that one I was listening to Elastica today
