Here's a selection of bands I saw whilst living in Belfast.......

And to top the lot, the last ever indoor gig Nirvana played in the UK....

This was their opening track....

And here's audio of the whole gig (unfortunately sound quality isn't great - really wish there was some video as I did a large amount of crowd surfing and moshing that evening - a friend who was in the upper tier said he couldn't believe all he could see was me floating everywhere )

Was lucky enough to see them a couple of months later at Reading, cited as their best ever gig - should've been there Greg........

 

Oh, forgot these guys - I was about 22 when I went to see these, and must'v been one of the oldest people in the audience - full 13 year old girls screaming throughout the gig!!!

 

Imagine having someone write a song like this about you...………..

Bank holiday time again for us in the UK

I say this as we have an international group of regulars on this forum from New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Ireland and many more that are not having bank holidays right now.

Anyway whoever you are and wherever you are I hope you all have a pleasant weekend, and thank you all for sharing plus taking time out to post music on this part of not606

I really enjoy this thread because it's still being bumped with some top plus fine selections of differing styles and eras of music.
