Some footage from the Gomez gig last night - superb evening, great sound from the band. They've just announced a few more dates later in the year too.... First hour was "Bring It On" and the crowd were going mental - after that they threw in some tunes from "Liquid Skin" and other albums, before performing a different version of "Whippin Piccadilly" as part of the encore. Nearly a 2 hour set, and one to be remembered.

Good to hear you like it pal - I wasn't sure at first, but today it seems to have clicked. It's a very bold change in direction for the band as a whole, very much an Alex Turner album, and not disimilar to the soundtrack to Submarine that he did a few years ago.... Think at the moment I prefer their heavier stuff, but I'm hoping they rock it up a bit for their live shows in the summer....
