Aww... It's really nice to see the human side of players/ex-players. I miss those guys, especially Jos. Also, it's a shame we didn't keep Surman. I think he could have become a better player had he stayed.

The second day of congratulations from friends and family on the OS. His parents say how much the club means to him. Nice messages from SRL, Jason and others.

I think it reveals something about those players as well as SKD. I mean, if we were to guess which former teammates might be expected to have kind words for SKD and/or express themselves well, those are pretty much the guys you'd come up with. Maybe Barnard is a mild surprise.
But Connelly, Lambert, Surman, Wooten, Hammond-- all model pros and nice guys who would say the right thing anyway, but probably appreciated SKD all the more since he was in a similar mold. As for Puncheon.... well he does like to talk and I think at the end he left on good terms and really appreciated his whole experience here. Also, even when he was refusing to play and going through all that stuff I remember he was active on Twitter and always pulling for Saints and his teammates who also seemed to like him. I remember thinking that was odd.
