Not sure why not... it’s just a lender after all. Different if they took an ownership % for that capital.

Not saying it’s not a dodgy situation, or is for that matter; I’ve not looked at it

We should probably just ask the big six if they're happy for this to progress.

Think it could be seen as a conflict of interest. We'll find out in due course anyway I suppose.

It's absolutely a bit iffy. Unfortunately, so too is our current circumstance.

I’m going to ask some experts on Twitter and Facebook - we’ll get the truth there at least.

Sort of like ‘out of the frying pan and into the frying pan‘ this. Maybe it’s just a bit of a cooler one.

Copy and paste so that ****rag doesn't get any more money:

SPORTS AGENDA: Southampton rage at Big Picture duo after sale was jeopardised... while Wayne Rooney is already calling the shots at Derby
    • Project Big Picture was rejected at last week's Premier League meeting
    • Proposed revolution of English football put forward by Liverpool and Man United
    • Clubs took aim at the two giants with Southampton particularly damning
Last week’s Premier League meeting, at which Project Big Picture was blown out of the water pretty much from the off, was an entertaining affair with clubs unafraid to vent their anger at Manchester United and Liverpool.

One of many to land a punch was Southampton who, sources say, were ‘apoplectic’ with the pair.

As revealed by Sportsmail, Saints are close to clinching a lucrative takeover and they were furious at what they saw as reckless actions which could have undermined the Premier League product — and put their own sale in jeopardy.

To be honest, the silence isn't a bad thing. I'd be more confident of things progressing with silence, than with noise. Noise potentially equates to rumour/newspaper trash/desperation.

From experience, silence is good as final issues (suspect raising funds) are ironed out ahead of a November final announcement
