A problem here is we can't really be making signings without a manager. I mean, I know Les Reed plays a big part in it, and I trust him to do so, but we shouldn't make signings without a manager here with his own idea of how he wants to mould the squad.
Yeah, Tremmel's 35 though, and Vorm might be in demand. Still, it's likely Fabianski could just end up warming the bench again!
I doubt we could have realistically got Fabianski. I can't see him wanting to go from being behind one Polish keeper to being behind another. He really needs games if he wants to play internationally, so I expect Vorm to be on his way now as I can't see Fabianski joining to be 2nd choice (he could have stayed at Arsenal and done that, probably for more pay)
David Villa to........ New York City FC! http://www.insidespanishfootball.co...confirm-the-signing-of-david-villa-next-week/
Joining Frank Lampard at the new New York team. Impressive start for them. Also, Liverpool reportedly lead the race to sign Cesc. That'd be a surprise. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...rcelona-midfielder-cesc-fabregas-9467609.html
if we want £30m for Adz then Cesc at the same price is a no brainer. Whether Arsenal use first dibs will be interesting
I think there are enough differences between Cesc and Adam for them to want both. Whether they'd want to spend £55-60m on two players is another matter. Arsenal could well use their first option clause, but I really don't understand what sort of an edge that clause is supposed to give them.
