Some seemingly credible tweeters saying Borini has turned down Sunderland and is staying at pool....might be bollocks.
Did seem strange today that he played, normally with a pending medical to pastures new they don't play to minimise possible injury.
Can someone explain to me how Real Madrid can keep spending such ridiculous amounts of money on players?
Swansea and Spurs swapping Ben Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson. Straight swap, no additional cash on either side. Vorm to Spurs for £3.5m is separate deal.
Because they are complete and utter vultures who want what they want so don't tell them they can't have it and can't keep it in the reserves and can't sell it on next window. They are talent leeches, and why their regime allows Levy to continue to splash upwards of £50m (if he wants Schneiderlin and Jay Rod) on top of their complete failed haul last season, I will never know. How about he works with the £100m worth of players he rested last season and try to recoup some of that Bale cash he squandered on buying players he'd read about in the paper?! Complete followers; wouldn't know what a leader was if it came up and finished in the four berths of the league above them. The real pain in the ass is their consistency - utter consistent mediocrity, like a mosquito buzzing around fifth place, ITV, and BT Sport year after year, bloated on blood sucked from the likes of Saints and Swansea.
Why do Saints never go in for player swaps? We could have got loads from the transfers we'd done. Appreciate we don't want rejects or has-beens, but a bit of leverage for someone they can bear losing in exchange for one of our guaranteed stars, on our own terms, would be nice. Vorm is a steal at £3.5m.
How much were James and Kroos? It's a total of around £85million isn't it? If they sign no others it's less than Spurs spent last summer
Keylor Navas, it's not about spending more or less then Spurs last season. It's about doing it every season.
He's still not moved yet. Real Madrid spend a lot of money on transfers but they also make more money than pretty much anyone else from shirt sales, sponsorship etc. They weren't on the list with City and PSG who were fined for breaching FFP so they can't be doing that much wrong. Last year they spent a lot on Bale, but also sold Ozil which pretty much covered the cost of Isco and Illaramendi, they also sold Higuain so their net spend may not have been as much as you'd expect. This year Di Maria looks like he could be off for £30m+ and Khedira could also go for £20m. They do spend too much money but a lot of people ignore the outgoings when considering FFP.
