I wasn't trying to offend or upset I was mearly trying to find the answer to why.

 

being a ginge myself , i can say that being told i smell funny just because the colour of my hair etc is hurtfull , especially when i was younger . I have since realised that the ladies love my hair colour and i wouldn't swap it for any other colour type !

 

Because it's not weighted (rightly) with the same history as black/female/gay and therefore seen as alright. It's not really if you actually think about it, particularly when you think about the effect it can have on a child in a playground - highlighting difference and ostracising as a result is never good - so the perpetuation of it is really not too helpful.

 

Ginger is a brilliant substance to put in food, on your yogurt and banana, to have in tea!!!

To compare remarks about hair colour with sexual orientation or race is just completely wrong IMO.

I can understand why you dislike what he said, I didn't agree with it myself. I have red headed family too so don't try and guilt trip me with that one.
I don't understand why you had to make reference to the comment he made yesterday when it had no relevance to his comment about Balotelli & Adebayor. It was just very petty, if you had a problem with why not message him privately?

 

Pretty sure we all loved the ginger ninja, WGS. Don't remember him getting sensitive when the crowd started turning up in ginger wigs.

 

Or.....maybe just think about what Craig is trying to say, and consider how it might be a problem? Imagine if you had a red headed child of seven, who was continually baited at school because of his or her hair colour. It's going to make them feel like ****, and that there's something wrong, or 'less' about them.

Then consider if, as an adult, you should be perpetuating that distinction.

 

You shouldn't have to change just because others see it has different or not how it should be.

Yes of course you do. Which doesn't make it right. But yeah, people are over sensitive these days about the slightest thing - I'm just saying in a broader context I get where Craig is coming from, and in that sense there's a lot of good that can come from realising that and adjusting behaviours.

Back to transfers though, for sure.

Yes but, as I mentioned before, every single person on the planet who has ginger hair is inherently evil. It's just something we all have to live with and it's a fact of life so not worth worrying about.
