I hate to do this because ... Well, I just don't like it, but Tadic has so many more assists than Lallana. That tells you about his influence. Lallana was so often bullied off the ball. Tadic keeps it far more often.

But as I said, overall very tight.

Tadic at his best is better than Lallana at his best in my opinion.

What is a club wanting a player to do with how well he played for us? It's a bit like me saying Everton brought Niasse for £14m +, yet is utter ****. But Everton brought him so he must be good...

I will leave it as you have a different opinion then me.

Lallana has always been overrated by people on here.

Tadic > Lallana all day long for me, but that doesn't take away from the massive contribution that Adam made for us in his time here. He and Rickie had an almost telepathic relationship and Rickie would be the first to say how much he benefitted from playing with him.
I don't care about off the pitch stuff, on the pitch Adam played as big a part as anyone in getting us to the Premier League.
He also cost us nothing and made us £25m profit!.

We can afford to lose Vic and recycle his transfer money into the squad, but Sadio is a different case, he is a special player that we have little hope of replacing fully.

I'd take Lallana back in a swap with Tadic without a moments hesitation.

I like Tadic too much to want to lose him. But I would happily take Lallana back in a stand alone deal. Not that it's going to happen.

Only if I can punch him first. There really is something about him far more punchable that Tadic.

Yeah I'd have Lallana all day long. Without question. Times infinity.

Tadic has a handful of good games a season, but too often he just brings nothing. At least Lallana, if not having his best game creatively, would work his arse off. His energy and pressing was absolutely key during Poch's full season in charge. He played every single league game that campaign too. So Poch obviously rates him.

Going by stats alone is ridiculous. Remember Tadic is often our penalty taker so obviously his goals column is healthy. And while Dusan's passing is at times absolutely stunning, it seems that's all he has in his locker. His crossing is woeful, which is why we need Steven Davis to take our corners and free kicks, and his inability to shoot with his left foot is one of the most laughable/frustrating things I've ever seen in a Saints shirt. In fact, his shooting generally is pretty shoddy. When does he ever let fly with a 20-yard stinger.? Answer: Never. A left foot stinger? Do me a favour. At least Adam wasn't scared ****less to use his damn left peg, and he would often shoot (and score) from outside the box. I know a lot of bitter people now mock Lallana for having 'one trick', but that is absolute horse ****e too. His ability to take the piss and put a bloke on his arse was the best since Le Tiss. Fact. Tadic has skills too, but not like Adam.

The reason people hate Adam so much now, is because we (all) loved him so much back then. That's the truth. I forgave him a long time ago, and I (secretly on here) enjoy watching him play well for Liverpool. I know that's the equivalent to some on here as playing soggy biscuit with your family at Christmas, but I don't care.

And finally, what's with this 'don't bother taking into consideration his League One/Championship form'??!!. The double standards!! On another thread I read people raving about Gaston Ramirez because he is 'tearing up' the Championship. And don't forget Lallana was only 20 years old when he had that 20-goal season in League One. Pretty impressive for an Att. Mid to score that many in any division at that age. (For those stat-lovers, go and see how many goals Dusan was scoring in the Serbian and Dutch leagues at the time. Not a lot.)

PS - I do think Dusan is getting better, and he could be key for us next season if he continues to gel with Long. :)
