Just out of interest is their prize money for placements in the Deloite Money league? Got a feeling we're about to bump right up that one this year.<laugh>

Some reports are suggesting it was agreed on Friday. Christ know's. Personally wanted him left on gardening leave for remainder of his contract and Ratcliffe to continue crying.

Posted on this last week... the deadline isn't as clear cut as you think.. there's a two week threshold... essentially Newcastle are still selling players to appease the Premier league. They can just demonstrate they were in negotiations.

How about a 17 day threshold? Coz saudi doesn't open till 17th July <whistle>

Or do we just move the threshold, the goalposts and the stadium to fit this new agenda?
 
You can file under last year I think. No question Ashworth was part of PSR compliance in my mind. There’s no ****ing chance it was £3m.

I’m glad it’s done, don’t feel the club “folded”, we stood our ground for long enough and then got money in to avoid points deduction and/or selling someone important. It was too last minute but successful in the end.

I think the Saudi sales will start now then it’s all eyes on inbound.

Their window opened Today ...I heard all this from Jacobs... the deadline was all hype... as long as negotiations were underway anyway.
