Is that a crime ? Anyway do you think Newcastle are interested in Gallagher as Brunos replacement ? It's certainly reported
The fans will boo him when he rocks up at St James Park.. that's the way it goes..they all love you until you put your career first... it's sadly the way it goes.... maybe he might get a pass but I doubt it. All if he goes btw.. I hope he doesn't
I hope he doesn’t aswell. But I wouldn’t begrudge him. I actually think it’s just lazy journalism because of this release clause. But Man City do need a KDB replacement. Bruno however is a different type of player.
If he goes I really hope they don't go after Gallagher but he absolutely screams Eddie Howes Newcastle. He's better than Longstaff, but even Willock is a superior player when fit. Ultimately it's unlikely Newcastle will be able to replace Guimareas without it being a downgrade though, so maybe the other players bought with the money he's sold for will overall improve the 11.
We should try to snap up some quality players from France considering the latest Ligue 1 TV rights fiasco, I'd love for us to try to sign Maxence Caqueret & Rayan Cherki from Lyon if their available.
This is from the Gazette, talking about Minteh. Whilst it’s only the opinion of a writer it mirrors exactly what I think we’re like: "I don't think Newcastle will get £40 million, even if that's what they value him at but let's say somebody wants to pay £20-£25 million for him, do Newcastle look at that and think 'if we sell Yankuba Minteh, who might not turn out to be very good, it means we don't have to sell Callum Wilson, Miguel Almiron, Sean Longstaff or Kieran Trippier?' "Now some fans might be screaming at their laptops going 'but we want to sell these players - we want to sell Almiron,' but if you're sat in Eddie Howe's shoes and he's saying: 'well, I trust Miggy and I know what he can do week in, week out and I know how good he is and his strengths and his weaknesses and the same can be said for Sean Longstaff and Kieran Trippier and Callum Wilson.”
They were nailed on for Paqueta and we all know what happened there, can they not just give Guimaraes a sweetener to stay till January then sell him for £150m?
I agree, but these types don't appear to be the Newcastle/Howe type. They could of course be doing the right thing by avoiding anything even remotely exciting this Summer.
Eddie howe isn't going to change his approach to transfers. He won't even change a left back until a season is in tatters. It's up to him though at the end of the day and so far he's doing well overall.. can't deny it.
Nice, the dickhead left us for the Man U bench at the slightest suggestion he might not be starting, so let him go to that **** league and win empty trophies. He had his chance to establish himself as first choice again and he blew it.
Look who was U21 goalkeeper of the tournament in 23. And also look who was player of the tournament. https://www.uefa.com/under21/news/0...0--2023-under-21-euro-team-of-the-tournament/
