Apparently we've held talks with Brandon Williams, after a fee of £10m was mentioned, Scum have now upped it to £15m after Brighton showed an interest, as a replacement for Cuccurella, who's Citeh bound. They're apparently prepared to pay it, we're not, so have walked away.

Not sure we can afford £15m for a back up LB, and couldn't see him leaving scum to sit on the bench here, Josh Tymon, seems a more realistic target.
 
Seems we're now being linked with a forward most of us have probably not heard of, 24 yr old German Mergim Berisha, plays now at Fenerbache, played for Marsch before. £2.5 m

This is the worst time we could have sold Davis. We're 10 days before the season starts, Firpo is injured and it doesn't look like we're any closer to signing a LB that was said we needed one a week maybe 2 weeks ago.

Exactly I thought if Davis was sold we had to have someone lined up strange really strange. Hopefully the next few days it will all come clear but I'd hate to go into the start of the season with no LB

But then we'll get players X Y and Z will be able to fill those positions. We're walking in to the same problem we had last season
