Norwich have signed Patrick Roberts on loan from Man City. That is someone I would'nt have minded at Saints

Watched him a couple of times in a poor Girona team and he looked ok. Only 22 and the 10 or so times I've watched him has always looked promising to me, loan with an option would've been a good move I think but not sure City would've agreed to that.
Absolutely, why would City loan a player to a rival? <whistle>

So you he situation so far - we’re not buying a keeper. Maybe this week we can not buy a DM, or a goal shy striker. All going well so far.

This years accounts are going to look “interesting” with a lot of assets being written down so early in their contracts but hopefully the ratio of players wages vs income will improve
This is just speculation and backed up by no knowledge whatsoever. I understand that the Chinese have strict laws about taking money out of the country but wonder what the law is regarding bringing money back in. Does anyone know how Geo's business interests back home are affected by recent US sanctions? Anything promised to Ralph was before these took effect. Maybe that we won't have as much money to spend as we might like if he has to pay himself a dividend to cover any loses back home. As I said speculation and could be utter garbage.

Only two areas of the team concern me more than the rest and that is central defence and the Strikers and I think it could be solved with a dominant leader at the back and a goalscoring forward. We will also need a creative player as well if Boufal does not come back into the fold and an experienced back up RB to Valery.

A mate of mine who supports Spurs just messaged me saying they want Valery. No idea where he has got the info from or if he is just lying because of the amount of abuse I've sent him since Saturday night.

Well I think that Trippier might be on his way out...

Yeah but I doubt they will go for Valery as his replacement. Supposedly want Wan-Bissaka but guess we'll have to wait and see. At least Valery just signed a new deal so if there is any truth to this we should be able to get a lot of money. As I said though could well just be my mate fuming after the non stop abuse I have been giving him about Spurs

Valery has done well, and certainly there is potential there, but he is a long, long way from being close to Trippier's standard.
