Watched him a couple of times in a poor Girona team and he looked ok. Only 22 and the 10 or so times I've watched him has always looked promising to me, loan with an option would've been a good move I think but not sure City would've agreed to that.

This years accounts are going to look “interesting” with a lot of assets being written down so early in their contracts but hopefully the ratio of players wages vs income will improve

Only two areas of the team concern me more than the rest and that is central defence and the Strikers and I think it could be solved with a dominant leader at the back and a goalscoring forward. We will also need a creative player as well if Boufal does not come back into the fold and an experienced back up RB to Valery.
A mate of mine who supports Spurs just messaged me saying they want Valery. No idea where he has got the info from or if he is just lying because of the amount of abuse I've sent him since Saturday night.
Yeah but I doubt they will go for Valery as his replacement. Supposedly want Wan-Bissaka but guess we'll have to wait and see. At least Valery just signed a new deal so if there is any truth to this we should be able to get a lot of money. Valery has done well, and certainly there is potential there, but he is a long, long way from being close to Trippier's standard.
I predict that he will be a much better player at Trippier's age than Trippier is now.
