https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62394917 Astra f'ing Goo Goo were already booked, apparently, so the Spam will potentially play the mighty B36 Torshavn of the Faroe Islands. And no, that isn't a cold war era fighter plane, it is a football club apparently - they play at Gundadular. And no, that isn't some form of disease, it is a football stadium apparently - and it holds just shy of 5,000 fans. So now you know. <dg>
Viborg finished 7th in the Danish League last season, winning their relegation split to qualify. They're currently 4th, winning two and losing one, but their defence is ****. Should be an easy win for the Spammers, unfortunately.
Cat kicking Cockney t*ats Sorry, just had to say it how it is. Just call it Northern bluntness. We’re not too bright, you know
West Ham's owner are supposedly threatening to sue the stadium owners over beer prices. No idea if they're actually in a position to do so, considering their rent of about a fiver a year. This is why they're upset, though: please log in to view this image Absolutely ludicrous prices, but they should be kicked out in the street for bribing the Tories to get it. ****ing crooks all round. £3.20 for water? **** off. I haven't checked our prices this season, as I got to the stadium with very little time to spare. Have they risen substantially?
I got to the stadium stupidly early yesterday, anticipating delays due to the strikes. Wrong! Amstel's £5.15 and the other beers are a bit more, so they've gone up about what I expected. I'll try to remember to take a photo next time and get a proper list. The prices are displayed on a constantly changing screen, though. Very annoying.
I've been stuck in the bedroom with COVID for the last week and a half, so exposed to more talkSPORT than is good for anyone...one item on The White & Jordan show was on this story. Well prepared, they said that Spurs (and Arsenal) charged £6+ for a pint...going by the most expensive option....because, **** it, why not? Fortunately, I'm well now and can go out in the garden and listen to dogs barking and the builders next door talking complete horseshit...a distinct improvement.
I got : 1. an "on-target" ratio of 2/3 2. Off the "on-target" shots, 9 were either cleared away or saved by the GK. The rest were blocked by the defence.
West Ham showing their love for tradition. A rousing chorus of God Save the Queen before going behind to a Romanian team: https://streamff.com/v/0ca25f
